Hi All, I recently picked up a Focus 1.6 TDCi, 14 plate. Apart from a few minor issues, it's been great for the price. However, the thermostat went the other week (putting the heating on meant engine temp went right the way down).
Focus 1.6 tdci engine system failure. Focus mk2 1.6tdci. Pre neki dan na auto putu pri dodavanju gasa mi upali na boardu engine system failure i slabije vuce. Ugasim ga i upalim sve normalno. Juce se to ponovi pri ubrzanju. Opet se ponisti gasenjem auta. Motor je 90ks. Dijagnostika kaze da je veci pritisak u turbini.

Engine wise my Mondeo has done 121k with only servicing, a warranty covered mod to the aux belt (actually out of warranty though covered under a Ford TSB) and a goodwill from dealer reprog of one injector at about 70k. Keeping the heater off might help, but that's not ideal I know. The left hand button is for the heated windscreen.

Have brought a 1.6tdci 2006 with just over 100000 milies on it. Paid silly money for it as it will be a run about. Reason it was cheap is its shaky on idle, touch the gas slightly and it stops and runs perfect. When driving its fine. Looked about in the engine bay and found a split vac hose replaced this hasnt helped.

Support. Hi, I got an engine system fault error pop up on the instrument cluster with the red light about 2 weeks ago and it went into limp mode. I took it to kwik fit and their Bosch reader couldn't find any error codes. The error went away on its own and I was back out of limp mode.
Hi peeps, hoping some advice can help me. 2012 mk3 focus 1.6L diesel model. Engine is running rough / mis-firing, engine management light came on, I checked and cleared the fault codes with my ForScan and the EML cleared but the car was still undriveable as still mis-firing.
