The first step in fixing only one windshield wiper working in the Mazda BT-50 is to check the pivot nut. A pivot nut keeps each wiper arm connected to its respective wiper transmission stem. They’re big (usually 15mm+). A loose wiper pivot nut can keep a wiper blade from moving if it has worked itself loose. Verify the nut is still tight.

Make sure that the blade rubber is correctly installed to the blade holder. Slide the blade component and install it to the wiper arm. Slowly lower the wiper arms onto the windshield.
